PLEASE NOTE: The carb reduce works by boiling the rice in the first part of the cooking process and steaming towards the end, excess water is left in the base below the basket. If wanting to keep the rice warm after the 40-minute cooking process this excess water needs to be poured away, otherwise there will be extra moisture and the steaming process will continue turning the rice mushy.
